The stigmatized topic of pet obesity is much easier to discuss proactively with clients, addressing nutrition and feeding habits in a positive light in those first puppy and kitten appointments. This presentation shares a simple way to boil down the complexity of a nutritional history and reviews practical, creative tips to help clients prioritize and implement small changes that have a big impact on mitigating the risk of obesity. We’ll then take routine puppy and kitten visits to the next level by integrating growth charts, highlighting the impact of these inexpensive but valuable tools on setting up our young patients to live their best lives!
