Peaceful Passing: Senior Pet Nutrition

by | Dec 9, 2025 | Blog

Nutrition plays a critical role in pet health – in fact, it’s considered the fifth “vital sign” in the veterinary profession, alongside pulse, breathing rate, temperature, and pain level – and a pet’s body condition can have a big impact on both quality and quantity of life (AKA longevity). It’s never too late to pursue weight management in a pet, provided they don’t have any significant medical issues that might take priority over a weight loss program. Indeed, many of our patients are in their senior years!

Graham Mobile Veterinary Weight Management Services partnered with Peaceful Passing, an in-home end-of-life veterinary practice, to spread the message about the role of nutrition in senior pets.
